King Kong of Skull Island VR was a multidiscipline team effort. Concepts inspired by Joe Devito in the creation of Skull Island.
My role was to create a unique 3D treehouse native to Skull Island. First, taking references that fit Joe Devito's concepts of this tree, then making rough block outs for scale. Once approved, I sculpted a 3D high-resolution version that I would clean and optimize. Then I'd finish the asset with complete textures and prefabbed in the engine for myself and other artists to set dress.
