Godzilla- Kaiju Wars VR Environments

As a key member of the environment art team, I was responsible for creating a modular city asset pack to bring the urban landscapes of the first-person shooter, arcade- Godzilla: Kaiju Wars VR to life. Working on a multidisciplinary team, I focused on adapting outsourced base models to create a variety of city elements, including buildings, land platforms, highway overpasses, military structures, billboards, and signage, all set in a pre-attack Godzilla cityscape.

My role involved optimizing these assets by retopologizing and laying out UVs according to strict performance parameters to ensure the highest efficiency within the game engine. Once optimized, I textured the assets and integrated them into the game's environment, carefully set dressing to enhance visual storytelling and improve the overall player experience.

I collaborated closely with Ricardo Cienfuegos to develop a comprehensive LOD (Level of Detail) pack for the buildings, ensuring both optimization and stylistic consistency across all city elements.
