Serpent Insides- Flesh Tunnel

For this project, I wanted to focus on set-dressing inside Unreal Engine and creating a more realistic feel to a fantasy fleshy-inside scene. I broke this scene down into custom modular assets that would seamlessly overlap to make this tunnel. I studied references to match an organic, realistic gross flesh form. I retopped and laid out UVs in preparation for texturing. I created a smart material to help all assets to have the same fleshy material for blending purposes.
Project took a week to complete spending an avg of 5 hours a day (35 hours).
Then I brought everything into Unreal engine and tweaked their materials even more to give them a more wet appeal. Added water droplets, fog, and smoke and did a simple animation to select assets to sell the illusion that you're inside a living creature. I added skeletons to help sell the scale of being inside this enormous creature. Then focused on lighting to sell the mood of a creepy space.
